Abstract On June 15, 2012, OCR resolved a Title IX complaint filed against Yale University alleging sex discrimination in violation of Title IX. OCR initiated an investigation to assess whether the University had allowed a sexually hostile environment to be created on campus by not sufficiently responding to notice of sexual harassment, whether the University had designated a Title IX Coordinator, and whether the University had prompt and equitable grievance procedures to address complaints under Title IX. Prior to the conclusion of OCR’s investigation, the University entered into a Resolution Agreement with OCR.
