Part I will provide an overview of the asylum adjudication system in the United States and relevant law, as well as a summary of the main provisions of the Refugee Protection Act of 2010. Part II will examine in detail the changes that the bill would have made to current law and the motivations behind them. Part III will analyze these changes as well other potential changes that could improve asylum adjudication.
