A new Clearinghouse case set includes lawsuits about Operation Metro Surge, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation that began in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, in December 2025.  This includes Tincher v. Noem, a lawsuit brought by individuals who had been arrested and/or intimidated by federal agents during the Operation; Minnesota v. Noem, in which the state challenges the operation as an unconstitutional usurpation of state power and as unconstitutional animus toward state leadership; and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension v. Noem, in which state and local authorities sued the Trump Administration seeking access to potential evidence in the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti.  See all of the cases in the collection here
