Clearinghouse Covers Sanctuary City Lawsuits

The Clearinghouse is tracking lawsuits addressing sanctuary city policies across the country.

Our collection of lawsuits in which the United States has sued sanctuary jurisdictions, asserting that the challenged sanctuary laws unlawfully obstruct federal immigration efforts, includes cases against New York City, Los Angeles, and Washtenaw County, among others. 

We're also tracking lawsuits challenging the federal government's threats to pull federal funding from sanctuary jurisdictions, including City and County of San Francisco v. Trump.
