Resource: Directive Implementing Trump Transgender Military Ban

This Directive-type Memorandum (DTM)-19-004, implemented the February 22, 2018 Department of Defense policy on transgender persons in military service. The policy takes effect April 12, 2019. Subject to limited exception, the policy excludes transgender person and persons with gender dysphoria from serving in the military.
