The Department of Justice (DOJ) initiated a compliance review of Humboldt County, California under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. The DOJ and Humboldt County entered a Project Civic Access settlement agreement with Humboldt County to improve access to all aspects of civic life for persons with disabilities and bring the county into full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
