Career skills of special education administrators have been loosely defined by each state in which they are employed. This study examined the perceptions of special education administrators regarding state licensing/credentialing requirements in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. It also explored specific leadership skills directly tied to special education administrators. A researcher-developed survey instrument was used to collect data from 129 current special education administrators in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
