Resource: De La Fuente v. Hobbs

Plaintiffs Roque “Rocky” De La Fuente, the 2020 nominee of the Alliance Party for the Office of President of the United States and the Alliance Party filed this lawsuit against Katie Hobbs, in her official capacity as the Secretary of State of Arizona. The plaintiff’s seek injunctive and declaratory relief that would allow modification of Arizona’s signature collection and witnessing requirements as applied to independent and third-party presidential candidates seeking to qualify for the November 3, 2020, Arizona general election ballot as a direct consequence of the current and ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
