Stanford-MIT Healthy Elections Project

Alaska LT. governor and Division of Elections only mailed absentee ballots to registered voters over age 65. Plaintiffs allege intentional age discrimination that violates Alaska Constitution, the 1st, 14th and 26th Amendments of the US Constitution, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Case was filed and is pending - Plaintiffs are asking for the current mailing to be declared discriminatory and for absentee ballots to be mailed to all qualified Alaska voters for the Primary and General Elections of 2020.
