Third party and its candidate for president sued Virginia Board of Elections seeking to modify in-person signature collection requirements in light of COVID-19. Also seek to modify the requirement that electors for 3rd party candidates need to be named on the petition before signatures are collected. Plaintiffs seek to reduce the number of required signatures from 5000 to 2000 or, alternatively, to accept a filing fee in lieu of signatures. Causes of action include violation of First Amendment and violation of Equal Protection clause.
