For many, the Cabrini-Green public housing development represented a dangerous battlefield where drugs were plentiful and gangs ruled. For some, however, Cabrini-Green was home. A home that Cabrini tenants fought to stay in, despite the largest, most ambitious redevelopment effort of public housing in the United States.
