The plaintiff in this case alleged that his employer, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). discriminated against him because he was Iranian. The EEOC issues a finding that probable cause existed to believe that INDOT discriminated against the plaintiff based on his national origin in violation of Title VII. After this finding, the parties agreed to settle the case, and INDOT paid the plaintiff $15,000.
