On September 10, 1982, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana approved a consent decree in this case concerning the jail population at the Bossier Parish Jail in Louisiana. On January 9, 1985, based upon reports entered by the Department of Health, office of the Fire Marshall and Department of Safety and Corrections, the court entered a modification of that consent decree, ordering that the maximum number of inmates to be housed in the jail's trustee dorm was 25 and the maximum number of inmates to be housed in the D.W.I. facility was 6. All other provisions of the former consent decree were left intact by the court.
As we have only a copy of the modification of the consent decree, we have no further information in this case.
