On November 10, 2025, Plaintiff, a U.S. importer, brought this lawsuit in the U.S. Court of International Trade against U.S. Customs and Border Protection and its commissioner, as well as the United States, in order to challenge a suite of unlawful Trump Administration tariff orders. The "IEEPA orders" dramatically raised the cost of machinery and components sourced globally, pursuant to a series of 2025 executive orders issued by the Trump administration. Plaintiffs argued that the President’s attempts to justify tariffs through drug-trafficking-related emergencies or trade-deficit emergencies exceeded statutory and constitutional limits. Plaintiffs requested declaratory and injunctive relief, plus refunds of all unlawfully collected tariffs.
