The class represented by the Johnson Plaintiffs and their counsel, Futterman and Howard is defined as "African−American children enrolled in the Champaign public schools." Furthermore, the Court vacates the 10/12/01 deadline for publishing the notice of the Rule 23(e) fairness hearing. The new deadline will be 10/15/01.
