This lawsuit involves an individual alleging she was purged from the voter system. On November 5, 2020, a pro se plaintiff filed a complaint against the "Constitution," the Oklahoma State Election Board, and the United States of America in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma alleging she was purged from the voter system and not permitted to vote. Plaintiff alleged unspecified "human rights violations" by "entities of the United States" and that, by not permitting her to vote, "my country had purged me above the constitution law and made me a sovereign being and thus I AM CLAIMING EMPRESS OF THE LAND AND PLANET AND MY TITLE TO BE RESTORED." The relief sought was "Empress of the Land and planet," "Halt the election 2020," "999 trillion gold bars," and "Military under my command." On the same day, plaintiff filed a motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis. The case was assigned to District Judge Jodi W. Dishman, who referred the motion to Magistrate Judge Gary M. Purcell.
On November 6, 2020, the magistrate judge issued a Report and Recommendation recommending that (1) the motion to proceed in forma pauperis be denied based on the finding that plaintiff had sufficient financial resources to pay the filing fee and (2) the complaint be dismissed without prejudice unless plaintiff paid the filing fee within 20 days. By order dated December 23, 2020, the Court adopted the report and recommendation. Because plaintiff neither filed the fee nor an objection to the report and recommendation, the motion was denied and the complaint was dismissed without prejudice. That same day, the Court entered judgment closing the case.
