This is a case about the state of Pennsylvania's alleged denial of a private citizen's right to vote.

On December 10, 2020, a citizen of the Virgin Islands filed an application to proceed in forma pauperis and a complaint in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Plaintiff alleged that The Montgomery County Board of Elections, the Montgomery County Judicial District #38, the Montgomery County Comptroller’s Office, and the government of the Virgin Islands violated the Supremacy Clause of the United States Constitution Article IV because they did not allow Plaintiff to vote on October 26, 2020. The case was assigned to Judge Eduardo C. Boreno.

On February 24, 2021, the Court issued an Order that denied Plaintiff’s application to proceed in forma pauperis for lack of information and requested that Plaintiff complete a new form.

On March 30, 2021, the Court dismissed the case without prejudice for failure to pay fees to commence this civil action and file a new application to proceed in forma pauperis.

This case is now closed.
