Show Cause Hearing

ORDER: The City Defendants shall comply with the Encampment Cleanup and Voucher Procedure, which is attached as Exhibit 1, and any changes to it set forth in this Order. However, to the extent Plaintiffs-believe that the City Defendants have not complied with the Encampment Cleanup and Voucher Procedure or this Order, Plaintiffs shall provide the City Defendants with notice of any such allegations, including the time, date, and location of the alleged noncompliance, and agree to meet and confer with the City Defendants' counsel in good faith to resolve any proposed contempt motion within three business days of such notice to the City Defendants before seeking any relief from the Court. This Order will expire four months from the date it is so-ordered, or when modified by a subsequent Order by this Court, whichever is sooner. The City Defendants will submit their opposition to Plaintiffs' motion for a preliminary injunction on or before January 24, 2025. On or before January 28, 2025, Plaintiffs and the City Defendants will submit a status report to the Court on the nature and timing of any reply brief and hearing and further set forth in this Order.
