ORDER FOR SERVICE OF PROCESS on ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS, JOHN BARWICK, and PERCY MYERS. The 11 Complaint survives review under 28 U.S.C. 1915A. COUNT 1 will proceed against MYERS and BARWICK, and COUNT 2 will proceed against ILLINOIS DEP ARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS and BARWICK (official capacity). Plaintiff's 14 Motion for Recruitment of Counsel and 12 Motion for Temporary Restraining Order are DENIED. The Court DEFERS a decision on the 12 Motion for a Preliminary Injunction un til Defendants respond. Warden Barwick, named in an official capacity, is ORDERED to respond to the pending motion within 14 days of accepting service of this lawsuit. The Court will then review the response and determine whether a hearing on this motion is necessary before a decision. ORDER: Plaintiff's 12 Motion for Preliminary Injunction is GRANTED IN PART AND DENIED IN PART. On or before November 14, 2024, IDOC SHALL arrange for Plaintiff to be evaluated by a physician or physician extender at Pinckneyville Correcti onal Center to determine whether additional treatment or supportive devices are necessary for Plaintiff's stenosis. On or before November 15, 2024, counsel for IDOC shall file a notice with the Court that includes the record from Plaintiff' ;s evaluation by the physician or physician extender. If the handwriting of that evaluation is illegible, counsel for IDOC shall submit evidence necessary for the record to reflect the physician's (or physician extender's) findings and reco mmended treatment (if any) accurately and completely. Plaintiff's MOTION for Sanctions is DENIED. Plaintiff's MOTION to Receive Correct Motion from Defendant Barwick is DENIED AS MOOT. Plaintiff's 53 MOTION for Leave is DENIED.
