MINUTE ORDER. On January 20, 2021, the Department of Homeland Security issued a memorandum titled "Review of and Interim Revision to Civil Immigration Enforcement and Removal Policies and Priorities," which indicates that the agency is reviewing its rules, policies, and practices concerning immigration enforcement during the next 100 days. The memorandum also states that the agency has paused removals of some of the noncitizens who are subject to the expedited removal designation that is challenged in the instant matter. In light of the current uncertainty concerning the state of the policy under review in this case, the parties are ORDERED to SHOW CAUSE why this Court should not suspend consideration of this matter, including Plaintiffs' motion for a preliminary injunction, pending the agency's review of its immigration enforcement policies.
