TEXT ORDER granting in part and denying in part [18] Letter Request. In a letter request dated September 12, 2025, Defendants ask the Court for a one-day extension to file their response to the pending motion for a temporary restraining order/preliminary injunction, which is currently due to be filed on or before Monday, September 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. See Dkt. Nos. 6, 18. Specifically, Defendants request that they be permitted to file their response on or before September 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. See Dkt. No. 18. Granting the request in full would necessitate moving the hearing on the pending motion (currently scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.) and, due to the Court's congested schedule, the hearing would need to be pushed out for at least an additional week. Given the allegations made in the complaint and motion, the Court is not inclined to postpone the hearing at this point. As such, the Court is only willing to grant the request in part. As such, the Court will permit Defendants to file their response to the motion on or before Monday, September 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Plaintiffs' reply shall be filed on or before Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. The hearing on the order to show cause remains set for Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. IT IS SO ORDERED. Signed by U.S. District Judge Mae A. D'Agostino on 09/12/2025. (bto)
