MINUTE ORDER: Upon consideration of Plaintiff's Notice of Related Case, Dkt. 4, the Court concludes that this action is NOT RELATED to Accountability Now USA v. Griess (No. 26-cv-1385). Local Civil Rule 40.5(a)(3) provides that two or more cases are related if "the earliest is still pending on the merits in the District Court and they (i) relate to common property, or (ii) involve common issues of fact, or (iii) grow out of the same event or transaction or (iv) involve the validity or infringement of the same patent." On June 29, 2026, the Court granted the plaintiff's motion for summary judgment in Accountability Now. Accordingly, that case is no longer pending on the merits. Furthermore, this case involves a different plaintiff seeking a new permit for a different demonstration than the one involved in Accountability Now. As such, there are no common issues of fact between this case and Accountability Now, and the two cases do not grow out of the same event or transaction. Signed by Judge Randolph D. Moss on 7/1/2026.
