Case Summary

(This summary is temporary while we research the case further). In 2018, Faculty, Alumni, and Students Opposed to Racial Preferences ("FASORP") filed a lawsuit against the New York University Law Review ("NYU Law Review" or "the Law Review"). FASORP alleged that the Law Review's process for selecting new members and articles to publish violated the Fourteenth Amendment because it discriminated on the basis of sex and race. The lawsuit was ultimately dismissed, and the case is now closed.
