In March 1999, the Atlanta District Office of the EEOC brought this suit against AT&T Communications, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The only document available regarding this case is the docket; therefore, the allegations involved are unknown. In December 1999, a charging party intervened in the suit. In January 2001, this action was consolidated with the lawsuit that had been previously filed by the intervenor (1:99-CV-02756-WBH in the same court). In February 2001, the defendant offered to pay $25,000 in settlement of all claims, but it is unknown whether this offer was accepted. In May 2001, the defendant filed a motion for summary judgment, which was never resolved. In July 2001, the parties dismissed the case by stipulation. A week later the intervenor attempted to have the case reopened, but the court denied that request.
