CONSENT DECREE; it is ordered, adjudged and decreed that the EEOC and SSB wish to settle this action without the necessity of further litigation, purs. to the terms delineated in this Consent Decree. Settlement of this action is not an admission by SSB of any of the acts alleged in the EEOC's lawsuit, but rather constitutes a good faith effort by SSB to resolve disputed claims. This Court has jurisdiction over both the subject matter of this action and the parties; venue is proper; and all administrative prerequisities to the filing of Civil Action No. 00 Civ. 7402 (AGS) have been met. This Consent Decree resolves all issues raised in the Complaint in this case. EEOC waives further litigation of all issues raised in this action, but reserve its right to process and litigate any other charges which may now be pending or may in the future be filed against SSB. SSB shall pay each Claimant the settlement amount specified in Exhibit "A", for a total of $635,000.00. This Consent Decree shall run for two years from the date of its entry by the Court. This Court shall retain jurisdiction of this action during the period of this Consent Decree and may entry such other and further relief as it deems appropriate to ensure implementation and enforcement of its provisions.
