The Dallas and Oklahoma City offices of the EEOC brought this suit against Eagle USA Airfreight Inc. in April 2000, alleging racial discrimination. We do not have the complaint, so the specific allegations are not available. In September 2000, this case was consolidated with a private party suit (5:00-cv-00787-R). The EEOC filed a motion for partial summary judgment in January 2001, which was denied that February. In March 2001, a jury trial was held, and a verdict was returned in favor of the defendant. In May 2001, the EEOC appealed the verdict to the Court of Appeals, but the appeal was dismissed.
