On September 25, 2025, EEOC brought suit against Walmart in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. In their complaint, the EEOC alleges that Defendant Walmart Inc. discriminated against employees with intellectual disabilities who worked in Walmart’s retail store in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, by subjecting them to workplace harassment on the basis of disability, and by denying one of them a reasonable accommodation and constructively discharging him on the basis of disability, in violation of the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA).
