The Los Angeles District Office of the EEOC filed this lawsuit against Pechiney Cast Plate Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. We do not have a copy of the complaint; therefore, the exact allegations involved are unknown. However, it appears from the consent decree that the complaint was made to resolve the Commission's complaint against the prior operators and owner-employers of the defendant regarding discrimination on the basis of national origin, Hispanic, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
