The Detroit District Office of the EEOC brought this action against Mid-American Gunite. The complaint filed in April 2004 alleged sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Specifically, the complaint alleged that Defendant, the owner of Mid-American Gunite, created a hostile work environment for the charging party by making sexually offensive remarks and touching her inappropriately on a regular basis. The charging party did not intervene in this case, and the case was referred to mediation in August 2005. In September 2005 the case was dismissed because the parties had reached a settlement agreement. We do not have access to the settlement agreement.
