In May 2005, the EEOC district office in San Antonio, Texas brought this suit against Tiffany Billiards, Inc., in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. The complaint alleges that the defendant's managers repeatedly sexually harassed female employees in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Further, the complaint states that the continuously loud, sexually crude, and physically intimidating workplace environment caused a class of females to quit. After agreeing to attend ADR shortly after this suit was filed, the parties entered a consent agreement in November 2005.The consent decree states that the defendant must refrain from discriminating on the basis of sex, implement an nondiscrimination policy, pay three former employees a total of $48,000, provide EEO training to all its supervisors, post EEO notices, and maintain all records pertaining to this litigation for future inspection by the EEOC.The decree was entered in 2005 and scheduled to last 2007. No further docket entries exist, so the case is closed.
