The Philadelphia District Office of the EEOC brought this suit against Fastbolt Corp., a supply chain management company located in Hackensack New Jersey, in September of 2005, in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. The suit alleged that the defendant discriminated against a female employee in violation of Title VII, when she was terminated due to her pregnancy. She needed a surgery related to her pregnancy and was subsequently fired. The EEOC complaint did not mention retaliation; however, the complainant intervened and brought a claim for retaliation based on her questioning her termination. After a few scheduling conferences, the parties were ordered to mediation and from the docket sheet it appears that the case was settled some time around the mediation date. The final judgment was given in the form of a four-year consent decree in August 2006.

The terms of the consent decree contained both monetary and injunctive relief. The complainant was to receive $47,500.00 within 10 days after the consent decree was filed. The injunctive relief consisted of: expungment of her record, posting notice, annual training for the life of the decree, and record keeping of all complaints filed. Each party was required to bear their own costs.

The only additional activity was the mistaken filing of a motion for another case on this docket. Given there is no additional enforcement activity, presumably this case closed in August 2010.
